Apologies to Johnny Cougar.
These are my current go-to jeans for my two younger girls. They sew up quickly, considering the funky details and the legs are good and long(which suits me as I have to size back for my skinny girls). The pockets are lined which means all that sand just tips out,it doesn't get caught in the pretty pleats. I blogged a tute here http://fiveandcounting-motherof5.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/robust-raven.html The Hoodie is divine! I am a girly girl but I made a version in suede here http://fiveandcounting-motherof5.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/hooded-raven-rapture.html and one in wool here http://fiveandcounting-motherof5.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/constable-of-ravens.html and I was completely won over by the clean lines and neat hood. Another quick sew,the ties can be a little tricky to get even and take time to get them perfect but if you make a good thread choice that is not a huge deal.

The pants pattern is quickly becoming a fave of mine. I've sewn it up 3 times as it's a quick sew and the little details are a fun element. It's a great pattern!

Just as expected, this pattern is well written and fun! I decided on the yard of FFA III Snow White fabric I had (for size 4) for the hoodie so I did a little experimentation with the waist ties. I loved the ease of customization in the pattern and look forward to making it again! I made the size 4 pants and they seem to be a little looser than RTW pants, but nothing that can be fixed with a little deeper hem in the legs (which can be let out as she grows!).
